Orange Poppy Seed Pound Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 3 tablespoon Hasho Poppy Seeds

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.

  2. In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.

  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

  5. Stir in the vanilla extract and poppy seeds.

  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the sour cream, until fully combined.

  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  8. Let cool before slicing.
