Poppy Seed Cookies
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoon Hasho Poppy Seeds
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and poppy seeds.
In a separate bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden. Let cool.
